COVID-19 Update

Our stores will be temporarily closed from Monday 4th January, in line with the Governments National Restrictions, but we are still available to help with your requests and our online store is business as usual!

If you have a piece of jewellery/watch in with us at the moment, please be assured that it's safe and sound whilst in our care. For any repairs/alterations completed during lockdown, we will be in touch with you to organise getting them back to you.

When we reopen after lockdown, these measures will continue to be in place:

To begin with, we are opening with the below reduced hours:

Monday - Saturday: 10am-4pm

Sunday: Closed

NB. Appointments can be made Mon-Thurs 4pm-5pm for consultations and for those that would like to collect their repairs but may be unable to queue.

Please contact the relevant branches via email in order to do this:

Andover branch: andover@davidmellorjewellers.co.uk

Eastleigh branch: eastleigh@davidmellorjewellers.co.uk

Totton branch: totton@davidmellorjewellers.co.uk

The New Normal

We kindly ask you to bear with us during this transitional period, of getting to grips with this new way of doing business. Please allow for the following measures during your visit to our stores:

  • We are only allowing 2 customers in each store, at any one time.
  • Please visit solo or in a couple, where possible. We understand that it can be difficult with young families, so we will try to accomodate this as best we can, though an appointment may be necessary.
  • You will be asked to queue, keeping a 2metre distance, and to wait until called forward by a member of staff.
  • Please use hand-sanitising stations upon entry to the store.
  • We will be cleaning & sanitising surfaces and tools between each customer so please be patient with us.
  • Please pay using credit/debit card where possible.
  • Please stay at home if you are showing any COVID-19 symptoms.

The safety of both our staff and our customers is our main priority and so we are strictly following guidelines as set out by the Government, our trade-body The National Association of Jewellers and following updated risk-assessments.

Please do get in touch should you have any questions with regards to our practices.
